A new Schoolkids Bonus cash payment will be automatically deposited into the bank accounts of more than 10,000 local families with kids in school to help make ends meet.

Increased Superannuation

We’re using Australia’s mining boom to help provide a boost to the superannuation of 47,000 workers in our local community.

Small business instant tax write off

More than 11,000 local small businesses will benefit from a major new tax break. The $6,500 instant asset write-off recognises that not every small business is in the fast lane of the mining boom.

Childcare Rebate

We’re helping parents out with the cost of childcare by providing a 50% rebate on all approved out-of-pocket child care expenses, up to a maximum of $7,500 per child per year.
